Our client, a Tier 1 financial institution, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer to join their team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established SMF17 to enhance their experience at a leading firm.
As a Money Laundering Reporting Officer, you will play a pivotal role in leading diverse business operations within compliance functions. You will have the opportunity to consult with senior management on defining and leading projects that have wide-reaching impacts. Your ability to identify, own, and escalate data issues will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, your expertise will be called upon when responding to audits or regulatory examinations. This role requires someone who can engage with various teams across the organisation, leveraging these relationships to deliver efficient business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead diverse business operations/business control functions within Enterprise, LOB or ECF Compliance functions.
- Consult with senior management to define and lead projects that encompass and impact many employees.
- Assist with execution of key strategic initiatives and participate in business/strategic planning process within Enterprise, LOB or ECF Compliance functions.
- Identify, own and escalate data issues as needed.
- Engage and leverage teams and business partners to efficiently deliver business solutions.
- Respond to Audits and/or Regulatory Examination.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Anti-Money Laundering, Fraud and/or Economic Sanctions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to partner across various levels in the organisation.
- Confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience responding to Audits and/or Regulatory Examination.
- Excellent time-management, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Comfortable working across a matrix organisation.
