Job Title -Patient Coordinator for Private London Clinic

Salary- up to £30,000 depending on experience

Hours -8am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri

Location - Central London

Type of role - Permanent

Our client, a Leading Fertility Clinic based in Central London with first class success rates, are looking for a Coordinator to join a passionate team committed to helping all adults have the chance of a family.

They investigate each patient thoroughly and offer continuity care, both critical factors for this emotional journey. So, from the first enquiry to the end outcome, they get to know their patients, however complex their medical path.

Job Description:

They are seeking a highly motivated, confident and compassionate individual to join their team as a Patient Coordinator. You will play a crucial role in the initial contact with potential patients, providing them with information, guidance, and support as they embark on their fertility journey. Your excellent communication skills, empathy, and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming experience for all prospective patients.

Responsibilities:

First Point of Contact: Serve as the initial point of contact for prospective patients, responding to their inquiries via phone, email, or in-person visits. Provide them with clear information about the clinic's services, treatment options, procedures, and costs. Educate prospective patients about the fertility treatments available, including IVF, IUI, donor programs, Fertility preservation and other fertility options. Explain the initial process, requirements, and clinic benefits, ensuring that patients have a clear understanding of their options. Demonstrate empathy and compassion while interacting with prospective patients, recognizing the emotional challenges they may be facing. Offer emotional support and provide resources for additional counselling or support groups as needed. Assist prospective patients in scheduling initial consultations, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments with fertility specialists. Coordinate appointments with the wider clinic via Hubspot and Meditex software and follow up with client. Be in contact with patients who do not book a consultation on first contact. Answer queries and offer support to overcome customer barriers eg finance fears. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient enquiries, appointments, and interactions in the clinic's database or electronic medical records system. Ensure confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.

Skills Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Degree in a related field beneficial

Previous experience in a customer service or patient-facing role is highly desirable as is a Private Clinic background. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Previous experience of working within a sales related role is beneficial.

Ability to control calls in a timely manner and not be a "chatterbox"

Strong organizational skills, multi- task and prioritize workload effectively. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines and data protection. Proven ability to work collaboratively fostering positive relationships and effective communication. Proficient in using computer systems, databases, and electronic medical records. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus. A positive and optimistic approach, and ambition to be part of a growing yet small business
