If so, we want to hear from you! Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our esteemed client who have grown immensely from family beginnings over 70 years ago. This is a full time permanent position.
Welder Fabricator Duties;
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and production work orders
- Create and use template and jigs
- Fabricate, assemble, form reshape, rework and repair steel and plastic products
- Use measuring and marking instruments
- Use various cutting, drilling and bending tools.
- Assemble steel and plastic components by using various welding and jointing techniques.
- Carry out weld inspection and testing.
- Assist other fabricators when required.
- Always keep work area clean and tidy.
Welder Fabricator Requirements;
- Coded to BS4872-1 standard is a minimum requirement for both MIG and TIG welding
- Successful completion of an Apprenticeship in engineering or have achieved a relevant level 2 or 3 engineering qualification
- Thermoplastic welding is advantageous
- Manual dexterity
- Enthusiastic approach to learning new skills
- Flexibility and availability to support with overtime when required
Welder Fabricator Package;
- Up to £17 per hour negotiable depending on experience
- Monday - Thursday 7.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 7.00am to 1pm
- Overtime available and paid at time and a third
- 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
