JP Recruitment are pleased to be working with a growing organisation based in Peterborough, to recruit a HR Officer on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The firm are very reputable within the region and are easily accessed by train or by car. This hybrid working position with 2 days working from home.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining HR files and employee information
- Carry out new staff inductions and return to work meetings after a period of absence.
- Carry out all compliance checks for new starters including; right to work and DBS checks.
- Support on HR projects such as staff surveys, customer surveys, training etc.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a similar HR role.
- Be working towards their CIPD qualification.
- Be computer literate have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Have the ability to work independently under pressure and possess good time keeping skills.
