Compliance Manager

We are hiring a Group Compliance Manager, based in Bristol, for a General Insurance client. On offer is a basic salary up to £45,000 per annum and although this is ideally a full-time role, they will consider somebody 4 days a week instead. You will be responsible for the implementation and management of the processes. Ideally, they'd like somebody from an Insurance background but are open to those from wider industries within Financial Services.

The role of Group Compliance Manager includes:

  • Overseeing of internal procedures, across the group, both online and offline.
  • Supporting with financial promotions, quality assurance and product governance.
  • Working closely on regulatory breaches, complaints, data protection and other financial crime requirements.
  • Delivering training of the procedures being implemented to the wider team.
  • Conducting of new audits and reviews to ensure timely implementation of new procedures.
  • Preparing and completing of regular reports to the Directors and Shareholders.
  • Keeping up to date with all legislations including FCA and Data Protection.
  • Being able to suggest improvements for the business and group.

As the Group Compliance Manager, you need:

  • Clear previous experience and success as a Compliance Manager.
  • Experience within the Insurance or other Financial Services industries is ideal.
  • Have previously implemented new strategies and developed them.
  • Ability to lead, coach and support others.
