Location- Coventry, CV1 |Daily Rate- £85 -£100 | Start Date- 02/09/2024.
Hours- Full Time (Term Time Only) | Contract- Long Term to Permanent
Are you looking for a new role in working in a welcoming primary school in a supportive team?
LTF Recruitment are currently seeking 2 x year one class teaching assistants. The successful candidate will support the teaching and learning of children, on a whole class basis. The roles are offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the teaching and learning of children in a year one classroom
- Supporting children with SEN in the classroom.
- Running intervention sessions for children and phonics support.
- Ensuring that every child has the best opportunity to reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment.
Personal Specifications:
- Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 12 months' experience in an educational establishment.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a one-to-one and a small group basis and running intervention sessions.
- Knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
- A calm, patient, and caring persona.
- Good communication skills.
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
