Join our clients prestigious Hotel as a Chef de Partie. This vital role involves upholding excellent culinary standards and contributing creatively to our menu offerings. You will play a key role in mentoring junior staff and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare dishes consistently to high standards as per the established menu specifications.
- Propose daily special dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Participate in the creation and periodic review of menus for various dining outlets.
- Support in the training and professional growth of kitchen staff, including Demi Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, and Trainees.
- Collaborate with Sous Chefs to guarantee that service excellence is consistently achieved.
- Oversee and verify the quality of supplies from vendors to ensure they meet our specified standards.
- Keep kitchen equipment in optimal condition and report any malfunctions to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Contribute to budget management and adhere to financial guidelines.
- Uphold stringent hygiene and cleanliness standards in all kitchen areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a Chef de Partie role or similar position within a dynamic kitchen environment.
- Capable of independently managing a kitchen section.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques with an emphasis on quality, hygiene, cost control, and presentation.
- Proficient in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and budgeting.
- Experienced in implementing efficient stock rotation and cost control measures.
