Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm / Friday 8am - 3pm

c.£40,000 Per Annum + Pension + Life Assurance + Healthcare Scheme

This leading Automotive company are looking for a Techanical Trainer to join their global business.

This is a newly created role where you will be working closely with Production Managers and Human Resources to discuss training needs and shortfalls and to create training programmes to develop internal staff members.

Role Description

  • Set-up of training and educational material using the technical functions to produce core fundamental skills, to be delivered virtually prior to integration into production
  • Maintenance of skill level across shop floor (weekly, monthly reviews)
  • Improvement and audit activities.
  • Support of the operator post-recruitment (day 1 face to face checks)
  • Facilitate and construct training material (content - theory and practical)
  • Close liaison with WPS, ME, HSE and Quality Departments (local and central) for improvements, process changes, line changes etc... and training of any changes.

Skills and Qualification

  • Problem-solving/analytical skills for interpreting and solving problems
  • Customer-oriented, proactive and friendly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Manufacturing or automotive background would be desirable, but not essential
