THE COMPANY
An exciting role working for a technology driven subscriptions business who are looking for a Head of Analytics and Data Science to spearhead the growth of the central data team.
THE ROLE
As a Head of Analytics and Data Science, you will sit on the leadership team with some of your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide strategic direction and vision for analytics, insights and data science.
- Work with C-suite to align data initiatives within the business - spanning across marketing, commercial, product development, and customer experience
- Support the deployment of predictive models
- Coach, develop and lead a team of data professionals - also spearhead the growth of the team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A successful Head of Analytics and Data Science will have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced B2C environment, ideally in a start-up or high growth business.
- A strong understanding of data and business strategy, having developed data strategy
- Experience working with SQL, Python and data visualisation.
- The ability to see the commercial value of data and provide insights.
- Must have either worked or managed a team working in the data science/ advanced analytics space.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with C-level stakeholders
- Educated to a degree level or above in a STEM subject
