Part Time Bookkeeper

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper for our client on the outskirts of Kelvedon on a permanent basis.

This is a part time role (27 hours per week) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 09:00 - 13:00 / Thursday & Friday 09:00 - 17:30 )

This role is a hybrid role with at least 1-2 days in the office.

As a Bookkeeper/Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the financial foundation of the agency's account department, your diverse range of financial responsibilities will contribute to the seamless and accurate operation of the clients financial processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Accurately raise the Cost of Sales invoices in Synergist, ensuring alignment with purchase orders/serial numbers.
  • Manage multiple outlook inboxes.
  • Handle supplier invoices, processing them accurately.
  • Prepare payment schedules for approval and execute supplier invoice payments weekly.
  • Assist with general accounts tasks
  • Resolve invoice queries.
  • Input overhead invoices into SAGE, correctly categorising them under appropriate nominal code.
  • Manage credit card expensed through SAGE software.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Degree in accounting, AAT Level 3 qualified or related accountancy qualification is required.
  • Previous credit control experience is essential
  • Proficiency in working within a fast-paced accounts environment Capable of account reconciliation.
  • Demonstrated prior experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles.

The full time equivalent to these hours is £28,000 (Part Time equivalent is £20,160)
