Posted by G2 Legal Limited.

A terrific new opportunity at a full-service law firm in Glasgow is available for a Paralegal to join its excellent and welcoming Personal Injury team. I don't often see such varied work available for paralegals and is not one to miss if you are looking for no two days to be the same.

Some of the reasons you may like working here:

  • 25 days annual leave, plus 9 fixed holidays
  • Hybrid working 2 days required in the office once you are up to speed
  • Generous salary banding from £25,000-£35,000 – possibly more for candidates with an excellent experience
  • Excellent pension scheme where the firm contributes 5% of employees earnings
  • A travel loan scheme
  • Positive open-door culture with a friendly atmosphere
  • Outside of work the firm boasts an active social calendar – including barbecues, burns supper, golf days and wine tastings and a variety of sports teams

The Day to Day

The hiring manager is keen on somebody with existing experience managing a personal injury caseload from inception to completion. You will have an opportunity to work on RTA, EL/PL , Medical Negligence and Industrial Disease claims providing a unique chance to improve your knowledge across a diverse personal injury caseload.

  • Full time
  • Monday-Friday
  • 9-5pm – With possibility of flexible hours
  • You can be based anywhere but you will be asked to travel to their Glasgow office for training and team meetings from time to time
  • You will independently be asked to run a caseload, however you will have a team of paralegals and a solicitor to assist with the files you work on

The Essentials

  • The paralegal asked to join the team will have existing experience managing a varied caseload of PI claims
  • Capable of work effectively independently and within a team
  • Demonstrate an appropriate range of legal knowledge and seeks to develop technical competence
  • Ideally candidates will have knowledge of a case management system
