Our client is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to join their team on a contract basis to help create the best experience for their customers. You'll be part of a multi-discipline team working across sports and gaming, helping to deliver new products and services.
The work:
- Drive exceptional online experiences: Collaborate with design and product teams to own projects from inception to completion.
- Champion the customer perspective, ensuring user-centered design is at the core of every process.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to research, build, and deliver outstanding digital experience
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Deliver high-quality design solutions meeting business objectives and exceed user expectations.
- Conduct user research and analysis: to identify user needs and pain points.
- Ensure design consistency and adherence to design guidelines
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Experience of professional experience in design
- Variables/Tokens Mastery: Proven ability to design and implement a robust token system (colour, typography, spacing) to ensure product consistency and scalability.
- Component Library Design: Extensive experience creating and documenting reusable UI components that adhere to design principles and accessibility standards
- Front-End Development Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential for understanding the implementation of design systems and collaborating effectively with developers.
- Design System Documentation: Proficiency in creating clear and comprehensive documentation for design systems, including guidelines, usage instructions, and code snippets.
- Experience with Design System Tools: Familiarity with design system tooling like Storybook, Zeroheight, or similar platforms.
