Import Coordinator

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish. You will raise new job files, collating shipping documentation, completing customs entries. You will then arrange final delivery, all the way through to invoicing the job out, generate accurate invoice to client for all shipment related charges. Proactively action duties daily, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays. Be prepared to cover the desk between 08:00 & 17:30 when needed, make the team leader aware of any issues and / or any need for a visit plus manage customer issues and the ability to deal with minor issues, disputes, or complaints when they arise.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous Customs Experience/ Imports
- Experience using CNS/ Destin8
- Familiar with shipping documentation
- Experience in understanding incoterms and associated freight rates calculations and profiles
- Excellent customer services skills
- Good IT knowledge
