A vey loyal client of ours are recruiting for a Compounder to join their well established team and to report to the Production manager, based in Brixworth.
The Role:
- Checking tank/s labels with paperwork making sure they are correct and matching each other
- Ensure all equipment is always kept clean
- Compound RM's according to the formulation
- Ensuring use of raw materials in FIFO order
- Making sure completed jobs are combined and then check weight before packing
- Complete handover sheets accordingly if job cannot be completed
- Report any errors or spills immediately
- Ensuring all health, safety & hygiene procedures are followed
- Any other tasks required as part of daily work
The Person:
- Enthusiastic and a team player
- Excellent self-motivation with the ability to work on one's own
- Good IT skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX will be an advantage
- Excellent Numeracy & communication skills
- Able to work efficiently and effectively with attention to detail
- Good time management
- Counterbalance forklift License
Applicants must come from a compounder and/or chemical/raw materials background.
The role will be worked across shifts these are 1400-2200 with 30 minutes break
Shift allowance - 20% of basic salary.
