The role - Conference Producer
For this experienced Conference Producer role, we are looking for a confident individual who can successfully produce and lead large-scale conferences and exhibitions whilst bringing new creative and commercially viable ideas to the project. This role provides the opportunity to produce and grow existing events, one being a flagship large-scale event. Along with market research, agenda creation and project managing your events, the Speaker recruitment element is a big part of this role, we are looking to engage with experienced conference producers who enjoy and are skilled at this aspect of the role.
What will you be doing?
- Market research, develop valid topics and write an engaging and commercially viable agenda.
- Undertake detailed research on potential speakers, finding industry experts, thought leaders, and influential figures for your events, Utilise and develop your network to reach new speakers.
- Work collaboratively with internal colleagues in marketing, sales and operations to drive conference campaign post-production.
- Responsible for following the revenue and audience progress and taking action if needed to ensure successful event delivery.
- Post event analysis that includes; speaker performance reviews, attendee feedback, learnings for future speaker selection and other improvements
- Lead the project management for each of your events
Your background
- Graduate with a good degree
- 1+ year of experience in a commercial conference production position where you have independently produced b2b conferences
- Large-scale b2b conferences, exhibitions and events experience advantageous
- Confident communicator
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Confident and positive about the speaker research and engagement element of the role - it's a big aspect of the conference production role.
- Excellent time management and multi tasking skills
- Excellent research skills
- German language skills are helpful but not essential.
