Senior Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance Sheffield- Hybrid Salary £50,000- £65,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Package
We are working with a leading Social Housing / Property Services Contractor to recruit an experienced and successful Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team to help successfully deliver a project in South Yorkshire. You will be working on a framework that has the potential to run for 9 more years and involves internal and external refurbishment works across domestic properties.
You will take responsibility, ownership, and accountability of the successful management and control of all aspects of the commercial/financial and contractual elements of the works to control and maximise the company's profitability, protect the company's legal and contractual obligations under the contract, and manage all day to day commercial issues.
Quantity Surveyor Key responsibilities:
- Managing subcontractor packages
- Subcontractor negotiation
- Cost value reconciliation
- Producing cost reports
- Subcontractor payments/processing applications for payments
- Valuations
- Variations
- Final accounts
Quantity Surveyor Essential experience:
- Degree or other technical qualification
- Strong commercial awareness
- Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor
- Experience delivering planned maintenance works
