Accelerate Teaching is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Bradford. As we approach the new academic year, we are looking for a dedicated professional to start in September 2024, contributing to a dynamic educational environment that fosters student success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring their individual educational requirements are met.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, adapting resources and strategies to support students' learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting student confidence and participation.
  • Work closely with students to build their skills, encourage independence, and track their progress.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to create and implement personalised learning plans.
  • Support the development of behavioural strategies and intervention techniques to enhance the learning experience.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a secondary school setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of educational needs and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or training in education or support roles are highly desirable.
