Intervl are supporting a leading Electrical equipment supplier with their search for a skilled Electrical Assembly Operative to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical units such as (Switchgears & Consumer Units), wiring and ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality control.
Assembly Operative Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical components according to technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Perform wiring, soldering, and installation of electrical parts.
- Carry out tests and inspections on completed assemblies to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and rectify assembly faults or errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in electrical assembly or Assembly Operative role is a must.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Skilled in wiring, soldering, and the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
