Our client is a renowned creative studio based in South London, specialising in high-end floral design and event production. With a reputation for delivering extraordinary experiences, the client works on a range of prestigious events, from weddings to corporate functions to brand events and pop-ups. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment, alongside a passionate team committed to excellence.

What you'll be doing

As the Head of Events, you'll play a pivotal role in the end-to-end management of luxury events. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, manage inquiries, and oversee the production of proposals and budgets. Working closely with the Director and a team of event managers, you will lead the execution of events, from initial concept through to completion. Responsibilities include overseeing the design process, moodboarding, creating tablescape designs, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless event delivery. You will also handle budgeting, team management, and supplier coordination.

What experience you need to apply

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale events, preferably in the luxury or creative sector.
  • Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and suppliers.
  • Expertise in budgeting, proposal creation, and event planning using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage and lead a team, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional event delivery.
  • Experience with health and safety compliance and managing all aspects of event operations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience working with floral designers is beneficial, but not essential.
