Registered Service Manager

Profile

  • To have overall responsibility for the Service. This will include the day to day running of the home and all issues related to people working in or using the Service.
  • To ensure the Service operates within the requirements of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated regulations as well as the commissioned service specifications, our Business Plan, Policy and Procedures.
  • Hours of Duty: As required to fulfil the requirements of the post, normally 40 hours per week minimum. A mixture of day, evening and weekend shifts.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To provide and maintain a high quality of support for all people who use the services which meets the needs identified by Assessments and Support Plans.
  • To ensure the recruitment, development and retention of staff.
  • To ensure that people who use the Service are in control of decision making around how their support needs are met.
  • Ensure that the aims and objectives of the company are implemented and maintained within the Service

Must haves:

  • Must have NVQ Level 4 in Management or equivalent and NVQ at Level 3 or above in Care or equivalent.
  • Must have managed an LD Service
  • Must be a driver
