About The Role
Overall, Purpose of the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced person to join the team. Working across the Molston Coors site supporting the site's electrical duty holder in managing ongoing site electrical repairs, modifications and projects.

As the Electrical Support you will be responsible the manging work activities and the planning of electrical work throughout the site using approved contractors, ensuring the scope of work is identified and all the relevant authority to work permits are issued.

Also dealing with the day-to-day reactive work that is identified and prioritising this work in order of criticality.

Managing any project work identified, ensuring a smooth transition to the stakeholders.

Ensuring that your contractors are adhering to the sites H&S requirements in line with method statements and risk assessments.

Carrying out regular audits of the contractors throughout the day to ensure that they are following the H&S requirements.

Ensuring all the Authority to Work permits are completed by the end of the day and signed off as completed, all work discussed and agreed for any follow-on work this is reported through the Plant Administration Team so additional work can be recorded.

Completing work permits for working at height, hot works, breach of building work permits where needed, ensuring all additional safety requirements are met.

Communicate effectively all works to the area stakeholders so they are fully informed of all activities. Also working with these stakeholders to identify down time so work can be progressed.

Organise holidays with the duty manager to ensure site continuity.

Update tracking data bases as required in an accurate and timely manner.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

  • Manage Site electrical Plant admin requests
  • Manage CMMS job queue for site electrical activities
  • Issue ATW paperwork daily for activities taking place in the day
  • Issue PTW (Hot work/Working at Height)
  • Manage MEWP activities and requests
  • Arrange scaffolders (where required)
  • Audit site electrical contractors throughout the day
  • Scope out future work
  • Support site electrical manager & deputise where necessary
  • Support site electrical capital projects when required

Educational Level

  • Functional skills in English and Maths
  • Microsoft office.

Professional Qualifications

  • NVQ L3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • 18th edition regs BS7671
  • IOSH or NEBOSH

Experience

  • Time served electrical engineer is preferred with a good understanding of managing contractors on electrical equipment, be able to provide sound knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a good communicator and be able to communicate all levels.
  • Prepare and write reports on H&S issues and contractor/work progress as required.
