Private Retirement Manager

Permanent; Part-Time: 20 x hours per week – 9am - 1pm, Monday - Friday
£12.04 per hour / £12,522.96 per annum
Residential Management Group, a large, established market leading property management company, and RMG Scotland Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a part time Private Retirement Manager, supporting a private retirement development of 38 flats located in Haddington, EH41 4EB.
You will be looking after the safety, security and maintenance of the communal areas, offering advice and guidance to the residents on the facilities within the building, and other services in the wider community.
What will you be doing?
- Welcome new residents and help them settle in, advising them on all aspects of the building and services, including fire alarm and emergency call systems.
- Respond to emergency calls while on duty and take appropriate action – this may involve summoning help from a doctor or relative/local key holder.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate residents' records, i.e. next-of-kin, doctor, and medical information and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Take ownership of problems/queries relating to the communal areas of the building, including repairs issues, cleaning & landscape maintenance and use of the communal facilities.
- Deal with any emergencies that arise during working hours.
- Inspect the building for cleanliness and discuss with the cleaner.
- Ensure contractors attend to carry out servicing when scheduled.

- Ability to produce clear and accurate written records.
