Job Description: Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, has a passion for numbers, and is eager to develop their career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
- Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Assist with audit preparations and liaise with auditors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
