This specific role will sit in the IT team and will bridge the gap between our client's business needs and their IT/Technology solutions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business and CIO to play an influential role in driving the business technology goals and objectives that will contribute to the ongoing success and growth of our client.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the bridge between business units and IT, aligning technology with business goals.
- Engage in strategic planning to prioritise technology needs.
- Driving proactive service management, technology simplification and a rigorous cost focus in collaboration with CIO and the business.
- Understanding the business, its needs, workflows/processes and structure of both today and its future direction to synthesise business requirements into user stories for the IT roadmap.
- Support the delivery of business IT portfolio by partnering with IT Project Managers to help with management and communication to key business stakeholders and removing blockers to ensure project objectives, timescales and budgets are met.
- Ensuring projects and products being delivered by Group IT meet the strategic and operational objectives of the business and align with the IT strategy and, where appropriate, other programmes across the Group.
