Venn Group's specialist Legal team is thrilled to partner with a distinguished Local Authority in London, renowned for its welcoming and experienced team, to recruit a Senior Property Lawyer. This is a unique chance to lead and make a significant impact within a supportive environment.
Role Details:
- Position: Senior Property Lawyer
- Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week)
- Duration: 6-12 months, with a strong possibility of extension
- Location: Predominantly remote, with in-office attendance required once a month
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of three property professionals
- Work Allocation: Oversee and distribute property matters within the team
- Regeneration Projects: Engage in exciting and impactful regeneration work
- Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload including commercial leases, assignments, and easements
- Advisory and Drafting: Provide expert advice and draft legal documents related to commercial property within the local authority context
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified as a Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEx professional
- Extensive experience in local government
- Proven expertise in Property law and team management
