Reed Education are currently supporting an innovative and successful school to find an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor/Cover Teacher or graduate who is looking for experience before training to teach, to join their team. The Role:
- Cover lessons as required across the school, ensuring that students are engaged and supported appropriately
- Provide additional support as required to the students outside of lesson time
- Adapt lessons to support the needs of individuals within the classroom, including those with SEN and Behaviour plans
- Hold high expectations for safeguarding and behaviour within school and adhere to policies with regards to this
- Be committed to keeping up to date with subject knowledge and take part in additional CPD as required.
About you:
- An enthusiastic practitioner with effective behaviour management techniques.
- Hold a degree and C grade in GCSE or equivalent for Maths and English
- Ability to inspire, challenge and support students in your classes
- A driver is desirable but not mandatory as a station is nearby
- You must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to gain one
- You must have right to work in the UK and be able to provide proof of address
