Experienced Credit Controller required for a leading design and manufacturing company based in Rotherham. This is a newly created role due to business demands.
You will be responsible for the overall performance of the credit control function, a vital part of a pro-active finance function. The ledgers comprise multi-currency transactions within a diverse range of businesses., involving a high proportion of query resolution and candidates should have a tenacious approach to ensure these are administered promptly.
Within this role you will be responsible for the overall debtor position, holding regular review meetings with the wider finance team. You will be expected to monitor, reconcile and maintain the ledgers and will play a vital part in the monthly cashflow forecasting and submitting figures for month-end reporting.
Day-to-day duties include cash allocation across the entire division, posting of invoices to the system, raising and monitoring applications for payment and any other tasks necessary to ensure clean and accurate sales & retention ledgers.
The person:
- The successful candidate will have at least 5 years credit control/sales ledger experience.
- You will be customer focused with the ability to communicate well with both internal and external customers.
- You will be computer literate.
- Experience within the construction industry scheme (CIS) is desirable.
