Ashberry Recruitment are currently looking for a temporary ongoing Family Support Worker to work with our well-respected client in the Burnley area.
The successful candidate will need to work in line with safeguarding policies and procedures. To ensure a comprehensive assessment is completed to meet the individual needs of the families.
Key Responsibilities
- Be child focused always
- Contribute to the assessment process
- Maintain factual, up to date records so that all assessments and reports can be produced
- Identify any risk and complete risk assessments
- Work as part of a team
- Keywork with individual families
- Attend and contribute to meetings as required
- Attend regular supervision and caseload management
- Work closely with all professionals involved with the families
- Undertake and provide written reports as required
- Prioritise workload in consultation with Senior members of staff
- Maintain and contribute towards the accommodation to the highest standard
- Support families to access and utilise local resources
- Undertake any emergency cover due to illness as and when required by the manager
- Ensure that all training is attended and that you actively participate
- Comply with the |Health and safety at Work Act to maintain a safe environment for service users, employees, and visitors
- Ensure that the organisations policies, and procedures are understood and adhered to

- Respect and maintain confidentiality of all matters that you learn relating to services users, staff, and other professionals
- Attend work reliably and punctually
- All staff are required to work in a flexible way, ensuring that all tasks specifically not covered in their job description are undertaken.
- Will adhere to data protection policy and procedures in line with the GDPR
- Experience of working with Children and Young People
Salary/Hours
- £27,269
- 37 Hours Per Week - Will consider 4 days per week (Pro rata to 30 hours) - Monday to Friday
