Part Time Finance Manager

A small startup property development business is seeking a part-time Finance Manager to manage and oversee an array of financial responsibilities.

Finance Manager Responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • General bookkeeping using Sage 50
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Allocating receipts and payments
  • Posting journals
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Quarterly VAT submissions
  • Payroll preparation and processing

The Company

Our client is a property development business focusing on student accommodation builds.

Finance Manager Experience

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in a similar role with sound bookkeeping and transactional knowledge. Proficiency in Sage 50 and Excel is advantageous. Candidates with AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE will be considered, but level of experience is vital. The role requires someone who is flexible, adaptable and capable of working independently with excellent numerical, organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Knowledge of property development would be helpful.

Location

This position will be based in Oxford with flexible working.

This is part time, 1 day per week, or up to 8 hours per week.
