About The Role
At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.
You will be working, Monday to Friday, 15:00 to 18:00, 15 hours per week, on a permanent, part-time basis.
You'll also:
- Make sure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards.
- Always work safely.
- Make sure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly.
- Sanitizing surfaces and maintaining hygiene in shared spaces like restrooms.
- Emptying bins, replenishing supplies, and assisting with waste disposal.
- Operating cleaning equipment safely and following health and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to uphold cleanliness standards.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Good attention to detail.
- To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
- Have previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work (preferred but not essential).
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
