Role - Senior UX/UI Designer
Location - Cardiff - Hybrid
Salary - £65k, pension 5% matched, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
My client is looking for someone exactly like you, they are pioneers in their industry having provided their clients with innovative cutting-edge products across the globe for over 20 years.
Based in Cardiff they are seeking a an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their systems team and help develop user experience across their suite of desktop, web, and mobile applications.
You'll work closely with the product team in designing projects across desktop, web and mobile applications improving the existing user experience, develop consistent design patterns, and build new features, bringing new ideas and innovation to users, shaping the roadmap, and ensuring interaction design is brought in at the early stages of feature definition.
You will be responsible for being the lead on the UX/UI design across system solutions software products, taking ideas from concept through to delivery cross the suite of applications, promoting high quality experience of visual design across the product range.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in UX design across desktop, web and mobile with a portfolio you can reference during interview.
- Experience delivering designs for use in mission critical B2B and B2G applications.
- Experience working within an agile development process.
- Confident in explaining your ideas and principles to stakeholders at all levels, able to back up your design decisions with reasoning and evidence.
- Happy to question and challenge a design brief and drive solutions in the right direction.
- Able to work across multiple projects, driving your own priorities and ensuring consistency.
- You'll set a high bar for the visual impact and ease of use of our products.
- Experience in designing for a range of audiences and cultures.
- Experience with Figma is a bonus.
