**Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Scope Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure project success.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Commercial Management: Monitor project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to maximise profitability and minimise financial risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements by implementing robust quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, and progress to stakeholders and project teams, fostering open communication and collaboration.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing direction and support to ensure they achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, applying best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

**Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, project management) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Commercial awareness, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and contract management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable but not essential.
