- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure project success.
- Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Commercial Management: Monitor project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to maximise profitability and minimise financial risks.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements by implementing robust quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Communication: Provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, and progress to stakeholders and project teams, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing direction and support to ensure they achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, applying best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
**Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, project management) or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Commercial awareness, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and contract management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable but not essential.
