£45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Extra Benefits

The company are a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world that not only are renowned for the quality of their products but also for being a leading and progressive employer within the area. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Design Engineer to support the Mechanical Engineering team.

In this role you report to the Engineering Manager, developing & designing low voltage electromechanical components.

The Role:

  • Design and development of low voltage electromechanical components and products, technical support from concept to completion, continuous improvement solutions, thermal & mechanical simulations.
  • Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30

The person:

  • Electrical/Mechatronics qualifications
  • Experience working with Busbars
  • Experience in low voltage DC distribution systems
