Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Marketing Assistant to join a company based in Cannock. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B marketing within an industrial industry and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including website and social media management, SEO optimisation, content creation, and general administrative duties. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to stay updated with the latest marketing trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update the company website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging.

Monitor website analytics and provide regular performance reports.

Manage organic and paid social media campaigns (PPC) across various platforms including Linked In

Develop and schedule engaging content to enhance brand presence and engagement.

SEO Optimisation

Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.

Write and edit blogs, press releases, and other marketing materials.

Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Maintain and enforce brand guidelines, including tone of voice.

Ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communications.

Network Marketing

Research and advise on relevant events and industry awards.

Assist in the planning and execution of network marketing activities.

Conduct market research to support sales initiatives.

Analyse competitors and provide insights for strategic planning.

Assist in the planning and organisation of exhibitions and trade shows.

Coordinate logistics and promotional materials for events

Monitor and manage marketing budgets.

Track expenses and provide regular budget reports.

Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for marketing purposes.

Assist in the management of trademarks and other intellectual property.

Ensure compliance with relevant IP laws and regulations.

Develop and implement internal marketing strategies to foster employee engagement.

Act as the voice of the employee in marketing initiatives.

General Administration

Provide administrative support to other departments as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

2+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the industrial sector

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and social media marketing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in photography and videography, including editing software.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We will consider Full or Part time candidates. This role is 100% office based.
