The Project Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of commercial projects within the production operations. Their expertise will drive the development and monitoring of production plans and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
In this role, the Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the production budget, delivering components or assemblies on schedule, and providing essential reporting to track project progress. The Project Engineer will act as the liaison between the customer, Project Manager, and the production facility, ensuring smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills required for Project Engineer:
- In-depth understanding of production processes and financial reporting
- Ability to produce and read project plans, including GANTT charts
- Strong communication skills, capable of concise and detailed reporting
- Experience with risk analysis and SWOT/PESTLE assessments
- Leadership qualities with a knack for negotiation and support-winning
