Job Description:

  • As a Building Surveyor you will be responsible for a wide array of surveying services, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting comprehensive property inspections and generating detailed reports.
  • Identifying and assessing building defects and issues.
  • Providing expert advice to clients on property maintenance, repair, and enhancement strategies.
  • Preparing specifications, tender documents, and construction contracts.
  • Overseeing and managing construction projects to ensure they meet regulatory standards and quality expectations.
  • Collaborating effectively with Architects, Engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Offering valuable insights and guidance on building-related legal and regulatory matters.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a closely related field.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in building surveying, project management, and construction.
  • Profound knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Proficiency in utilising surveying and project management software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
