Job Description:
- As a Building Surveyor you will be responsible for a wide array of surveying services, including but not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive property inspections and generating detailed reports.
- Identifying and assessing building defects and issues.
- Providing expert advice to clients on property maintenance, repair, and enhancement strategies.
- Preparing specifications, tender documents, and construction contracts.
- Overseeing and managing construction projects to ensure they meet regulatory standards and quality expectations.
- Collaborating effectively with Architects, Engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Offering valuable insights and guidance on building-related legal and regulatory matters.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a closely related field.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in building surveying, project management, and construction.
- Profound knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Proficiency in utilising surveying and project management software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
