Job Title: HR Service Assistant
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until May 2025, full time , part time and job share available
Salary Range: c£25,500 dependent on experience
Location: Bournemouth or Eastleigh

HR Service Assistant: Ageas Insurance have an exciting opportunity available to join the team as a HR Service Assistant. As a HR Service Assistant, you will need to manage and prioritise a variety of work and deadlines whilst ensuring a great experience is delivered to employees and new starters. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication, customer focus, attention to detail and initiative.

The HR Service Assistant will be responsible for onboarding new starters at Ageas Insurance, as well as acting as first point of contact for all employee queries, providing employees with support and guidance. The HR Service Assistant will also be responsible for processing employee changes, preparing letters/contracts and ensure correct data is input into the Ageas HR systems.

Main Responsibilities as a HR Service Assistant:

Act as first point of contact for all employee queries, providing employees with support and guidance
Providing a high-quality HR Service Delivery service to the business and HRD teams
Manage the new starter onboarding process, ensuring you provide a great new starter experience - signing off offer letters/approvals, producing contracts of employment, ensuring completion of all required background checks and ensuring all required tasks are completed prior to their first day.
Carry out/support the management of annual and adhoc regulatory and internal processes, e.g. employee recognition schemes collaborating across teams in the function
Adhere to employee data retention guidelines
Support in the delivery of Individual rights requests
Employee changes and leaver processing - prepare letters/contracts and ensure correct data is input into the Ageas HR systems.

Skills and experience you need as a HR Service Assistant:
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks to a timely and successful conclusion.
Excellent customer focus, putting the customer at the heart of all that we deliver
Excellent communication skills to ensure that employees and candidates are given information in an articulate, accurate and clear way
Good interpersonal skills
Prioritisation skills - able to organise and take ownership of own workload, manage multiple requests, high volume workloads and adhere to key milestones in the HR calendar. Able to work under pressure.
Working towards a CIPD qualification would be desirable
