Bookkeeper
£27,000 - £32,000 per annum (Pro Rata)
We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of exhibition stands both in the UK and Europe.
Our office and factory are based in Potten End, just outside Hemel Hempstead/Berkhamsted.
We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper. You'll have sole responsibility for managing our accounts, working alongside our external Accountants.
It's a flexible part-time role however, we would need someone to be office-based, (plenty of onsite parking).
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate financial records using Sage/Zero.
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards and other accounts
- Preparation of financial statements and reports
- Collation of hours and sending to Accountants for PAYE payments.
- Preparation of VAT Returns every quarter
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Managing and reporting on cash flow, (excel)
As a part-time role, (2 days per week), with good rates of pay based on experience, this position offers the ideal balance for those seeking flexibility in their work hours.
