Role Responsibilities
- Preparation of accounts for small and medium-sized limited companies and LLPs, primarily from a trial balance and manual client records
- Handle industry-specific accounts, including solicitors and charities
- Provide detailed discussion notes for client meetings, focusing on accounting and tax-related aspects
- Directly engage with clients to resolve queries and offer tailored recommendations
- Preparation of management accounts and cash flow projections, ensuring accuracy and relevance
The Right Candidate
- ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with substantial experience in a similar role
- Proficient in IRIS accounts production, with strong knowledge of bookkeeping packages like Sage and Xero
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and complex reconciliations such as CIS and VAT
- Previous audit exposure is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication skills
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
