Role Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Full-Time Year 5 Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term contract starting in October 2024 and ending in July 2025. This role involves taking full responsibility for a Year 5 class, including planning, assessment, and participating in staff meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the national curriculum standards.
  • Planning and preparing comprehensive schemes of work and individual lessons.
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on the progress and attainment of students.
  • Attending and contributing to regular staff meetings and school improvement initiatives.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong commitment to student welfare and educational excellence.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
