About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Admin Support professional to join one of our amazing schools in Newham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the school office
- Handle telephone and email inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with student attendance records and maintaining the school database
- Prepare and distribute school communications, such as newsletters and letters to parents
- Support the coordination of school events and activities
- Manage filing systems and ensure all documents are up to date
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring compliance with school security procedures
- Assist with the ordering of supplies and managing inventory
- Other administrative tasks as required by the school office
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment
- An understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a school environment
- A DBS check will be required
