Are you a motivated individual looking to join a fast-paced warehouse environment? Our client are currently seeking an individual to join their growing team. The company are a leading manufacturer within the metal industry;
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with site manager and operators.
- Ensure materials are correctly identified, labelled, and ready for the sorting process.
- Determine amount of necessary resources (materials readily washed for sorting operation).
- Keeping machinery in good condition, carrying out general maintenance work.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean and tidy at all times.
- Following and adhering to strict health & safety precautions, including performing daily checks.
- Filing check sheets and washers productivity forms.
- Report of any machinery breakdown (including FLT) to managers.
- The role requires travel between sites, and you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and secure transfer of stock.
- Assisting in loading and unloading of materials for transportation.
- Ensuring the warehouse is neatly organised for ease of material retrieval.
Suitable candidates will have:
- Valid FLT counterbalance license.
- Full Valid UK Driving Licence (Category B).
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday- 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday- 7.30am to 3.45pm
Hourly pay rate:
£12.54ph
