Description
Preparation and first review of timely financial and management accounts and information assisted by the Management Accounts Assistants
Preparation/review of quarterly VAT returns/reconciliations
Review monthly bank reconciliations
Payroll for UK Group & Headcount reporting
Quarterly returns and annual renewals of ATOL and ABTOT
Authoriser of payments
Understanding of EU VAT requirements and implementation of rules if required by EU authorities
Completion of ONS surveys
Supporting the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasting Excel models
Monthly currency analysis
Support Head of Finance with cashflow and currency management, including intercompany payments
Preparation of Audit files
Ad-hoc tasks as required to support the Head of Finance and the wider management team including reporting and analysis
Cover and general support for team members as required.
Profile
The successful applicant:
- Ideally be studying towards a professional accounting qualification or be QBE
- Ideally have Sage 200 experience
- Knowledge of FRS102 and UKGAAP would be beneficial
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent commercial and business experience.
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Ability to stick to time constraints.
- The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
