An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and motivated individual to join Trafford's Integrated Customer Engagement Team as a Freedom of Information Officer. This role is central to the feedback mechanism for Adults & Children's Services, including Education, and requires a candidate with a commitment to delivering high-quality services and a keen eye for detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Monitor and respond to all Freedom of Information requests for Adults & Children's Services within statutory timescales.
- Facilitate and process Adults Data Subject Access Requests.
- Deliver general administrative duties to the Social Care Teams.
- Produce statistical information for senior management quality monitoring and performance reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated with strong team working skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with colleagues and the general public effectively.
- Computer literate with proficiency in all Microsoft packages.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with an empathetic and patient approach.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks within deadlines.
