Job Title: Material Controller

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Elevation Recruitment Group is currently working with a leading automotive business based in Belton, searching for a skilled Material Controller to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing company, offering a competitive salary of up to £30k.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Material Planning & Control: Manage the material flow to ensure the smooth production process. This includes planning and scheduling material requirements to avoid shortages and overstocking.
- Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, resolve any supply issues, and maintain strong relationships.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control stock levels, conduct regular stock audits, and implement inventory optimisation strategies.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate material records and produce reports on inventory performance, stock turnover, and other KPIs.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for material control, inventory reduction, and cost efficiencies.
**Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar Material Controller role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of material planning, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
