Customer Sales Advisor

Are you passionate about customer service and looking to grow within a dynamic team? We are looking for a Customer Sales Advisor around the Thame area to provide high level of customer service for existing customers. There is no cold-calling but the successful candidate will be comfortable making outbound renewal sales calls, and maintaining customer satisfaction through excellent service and support. This role is offered Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with one home-based day per week and offers a commission on sold policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide first-class customer service via telephone and email, both internally and externally
  • Retention: Retain partnerships with repairers and dealers by delivering on agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Sales Increase: Increase renewal sales by making outbound calls to existing customers to offer warranty renewal
  • Call Handling: Take inbound calls from new and existing customers, answering sales-related queries, and following up where appropriate
  • Renewals: Prepare renewal invitation letters and follow up with customers
  • Complaints Handling: Manage the first stage of customer complaints, ensuring they are passed to the correct colleague for investigation
  • Payments: Take payments from customers and secure their business
  • Product Knowledge: Keep product knowledge up to date to offer customers the correct product to suit their needs
  • Support: Assist Regional Sales Managers with booking appointments and visits

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales or renewals
  • Great customer handling skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Confidence in speaking to customers over the telephone
