Job Responsibilities
As a Paint Sprayer, you will:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes according to specifications
- Use spray equipment, brushes, and rollers to apply coatings evenly
- Inspect finished surfaces to ensure high-quality standards
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Work with a variety of materials, including metal and composites
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
Person Specification
To be successful as a Paint Sprayer, you should ideally have:
- Previous experience in painting or spraying, ideally within the aviation or automotive industries
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
