Are you a passionate and dynamic leader with a love for the performing arts? We are seeking a Head of Performing Arts with music specialism to join our vibrant secondary school for girls in Haringey. If you are an inspirational educator with a vision for excellence, this is the role for you!

Head of Performing Arts with Music Specialism Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Performing Arts department, with a focus on music.
  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons and performances.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students to explore their talents.
  • Organize and direct school concerts, musical productions, and other performing arts events.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with other departments and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Head of Performing Arts with Music Specialism Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of music and performing arts curriculum.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
