SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with an exciting two-form entry primary school based in the borough of Wandsworth currently looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position is due to start in September 2024 and on full-time basis until the end of the academic year with an opportunity for a permanent contract for September 2025. The position of Teaching Assistant is paying a daily rate of £90.00 to £105.00 per day.

As a Teaching Assistant in this school your role will be to work in Key Stage 2 and support the classroom teachers of Year 3 And Year 6 by helping supervise students in the classroom, work with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis. You will be required to ensure students are making regular progress and promote positive behaviour.

To be shortlisted for this Key stage 2 Teaching Assistant role, you will need to have

  • A university degree in English, Maths, Drama or History (optional)
  • Good organisation skills
  • Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills
  • Patient with a sense of humour
  • Confident in working independently or in a group setting
  • Enjoy working with students and aspire to be a primary teacher
