Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our ISO accredited Lighting Lab based in the Technical Department. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy in measurement.
Day to day of the role:
- Learn and perform accurate thermal, power, and photometric measurements on lighting equipment.
- Set up equipment for testing, carry out measurements, and compile detailed reports.
- As you gain competence, take on responsibilities for system and equipment calibration checks and record-keeping to maintain ISO17025 accreditation.
- Organise third-party testing and maintain product compliance certificates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A-Level (or equivalent) qualifications in Maths and Physics.
- Previous experience in the Lighting industry is advantageous.
- Electrical and Electronic qualifications would be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work closely with the Laboratory Manager and as part of a team.
